Image Formats in Photoshop
In web design you may be familiar with the different types of file formats used for images on the web, but it is difficult to find out which file type you should use. Here I have explained the differences between the image file types with some examples.
We use four types of image formats on the web. They are
- JPG (or) JPEG – Joint Photographic Experts Group
- GIF – Graphics Interchange Format
- PNG – Portable Network Graphics
- BMP – Bitmap
